Teaching Assistant Job Description

This job offers a chance to make a positive impact on a child's life by providing one-to-one support and guidance in a nursery setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering tailored support and adapting teaching strategies to meet the student's unique needs and abilities.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be part of a supportive team that promotes academic, social, and emotional development. You will work closely with the student, school staff, and parents to ensure seamless support and guidance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain effective relationships with the student, school staff, and parents.
  2. Provide personalized support and guidance to the student, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
  3. Contribute to the creation and implementation of individualized learning plans.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in Teaching or Education (or equivalent qualification).
  2. Prior experience working with children in a 1:1 capacity, preferably in an educational setting.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Able to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.

Estimated Salary: £32,000 - £42,000 per annum
