Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Pilgrim's Europe. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly files, analyzing data, investigating and reporting on anomalies, and identifying and tracking gaps in performance.

You will also be involved in the budgeting and reforecasting process, preparing monthly journals with reconciliation to weeklies, and supporting the checking of Site monthly submissions for SOX compliance. Additionally, you will be the No 2 when the Site Accountant is unavailable, complete detailed balance sheet reconciliations, and provide excellent customer service by building strong relationships at all levels of the business.

  • Motivated self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organisation and admin skills with attention to detail essential
  • Ability to work as part of a team but also use own initiative
  • Work effectively under tight deadlines contributing to a busy and dynamic environment
  • Excellent skills with MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience of working within a finance function in a large organisation
  • Experience of working with an ERP system, ideally SAP
  • Experience of producing daily and weekly reports to a short deadline; product costing knowledge
  • Experience of the FMCG environment
Qualifications
  • AAT qualified and studying towards further professional qualification such as CIMA
