Financial Analyst | Spalding

MorePeople is seeking a highly organized and commercially minded Financial Analyst to join their dynamic team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for providing detailed financial analysis of the business units, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Your expertise in financial modeling and presentation will be essential in delivering timely and accurate information to management teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decision-making.
  2. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the board.
  3. Manage project expenditure against budgeted financials and identify areas for cost savings.
  4. Conduct real-time analysis of labour, yield per square meter over time, sales by unit, and yield on purchased crop.
  5. Benchmark various business units and the group as a whole against the sector and direct competitors.
Requirements:
  1. Highly organized with the ability to prioritize a busy workload.
  2. Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and the ability to work across various disciplines.
  3. Commercially minded with strong administrative and financial skills.
  4. Ability to provide proactive support to our senior management team and board.
  5. Ideally, part or fully qualified in ACCA/CIMA (study support may be considered).
  6. Experience within the food manufacturing, fresh produce, and/or agriculture sector.

This is a Monday to Friday (8:30 - 17:00) role with the opportunity to work from home two days a week post-training.
