Job Title: Community Mental Health Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Mental Health Nurse to join our team in Orkney. As a key member of our Adult Mental Health Team, you will work closely with patients suffering from a variety of mental health conditions, providing evidence-based interventions and support to help them achieve their treatment goals.

About the Role:

  • Work with adults in a variety of settings to deliver high-quality care and support.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and risk management to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
  • Participate in the on-call rota and out-of-hours service to provide 24/7 support.

Requirements:

  • Substantial experience working as a Community Mental Health Nurse.
  • Sound knowledge of the effects of trauma and ability to deliver trauma-informed care.
  • Active registration with the NMC.
