**Contract/Hours**: Permanent, Full Time 37 hours,

**Location**: Orkney, Scotland

**As a Programme Lead, you'll be**:

- Participating in the design and planning, and lead on the implementation of programmes, ensuring that they are compatible with the objectives of the funding agreement.
- Provide high quality service (including those with a regulatory requirement) to children, young people and their families, based on an assessment of need and outcomes.
- Nurturing, developing and promoting effective relationships and channels of communication with colleagues, community organisational partner agencies and other external agencies.
- Leading on managing content for our social media channels and identifying new opportunities to promote the mental wellbeing services on these platforms.

**You will make a difference by**:

- Communicating directly with Children and young people and working with them around their identified needs
- Leading on coproduction methods/strategies to fully involve children, young people, and families.
- Harnessing expertise and resources of other Action for Children teams, Education, SW, Health and Third Sector
- Produce and present analytical and written reports using data and other sources to report on progress and to improve performance and service delivery.
- Work closely with senior staff and managers to review and evaluate programme provision ensuring continuous improvements are made, driving innovation and business development.

**You will need**:

- Management qualification or experience of line managing staff.
- Clean driving licence and access to a car.
- Working knowledge of mental health and what supports work and can be accessed
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of children and young people 1-1 and in groups.
- Experience of working in a project management approach - planning and monitoring work programme in line with key milestones and targets.
- To be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service
