Business Intelligence Developer (NHS AfC: Band 6) - Information Development Team

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated Business Intelligence Developer to support the Trust in delivering high-quality Business Intelligence solutions.

About the Role:

  1. Develop and implement intuitive dashboards and reports to promote a self-service information model for users.
  2. Provide expert guidance on data warehousing techniques and solutions tailored to the organization's needs.
  3. Collaborate with specialist information analysts to interpret customer requirements and generate insightful performance dashboards.
  4. Contribute to a performance-focused culture by delivering high-quality analytical insights, benchmarking, forecasting, and intelligent modeling.
  5. Oversee the administration, support, and development of the Cancer Unit ICT system, ensuring effective integration across various databases for seamless reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Reporting Solutions: Assist in the implementation and development of intuitive dashboards and reports.
  2. Data Warehouse Maintenance: Provide expert guidance on data warehousing techniques and solutions.
  3. Performance Dashboards: Collaborate with specialist information analysts to interpret customer requirements.
  4. Cultural Development: Contribute to a performance-focused culture by delivering high-quality analytical insights.
  5. System Management: Oversee the administration, support, and development of the Cancer Unit ICT system.

Requirements:

  1. Strong experience in Business Intelligence, data analysis, and dashboard reporting.
  2. Proficiency in data warehousing techniques and related technical solutions.
  3. Excellent communication skills to translate complex data into understandable insights.
