Ocado Group is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Strategic Legal Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our Legal department, you will play a critical role in providing strategic legal advice to our business leaders and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with our business leaders to provide strategic legal advice on domestic and international transactions, facilitating the development of business strategies and providing legal and risk management expertise.
- Support stakeholders across the Solutions business and key collaborators, including executive-level stakeholders, by providing high-quality legal advice and guidance.
- Participate in senior leadership and management forums, representing the Associate General Counsel and providing expert advice on commercial and legal matters.
- Identify legal changes that could impact our operations and work with stakeholders to agree solutions and achieve advantageous outcomes for the business.
- Manage, coach, and develop junior members of the team to deliver high-quality and commercial advice to the Solutions business and Ocado Group.
- Oversee all legal input in respect of drafting, negotiation, and providing expert advice on a wide range of domestic and cross-border commercial and other legal work.
- Minimum of 10 years post-qualification as a commercial or technology lawyer.
- Qualified Solicitor/Barrister specialising in commercial and technology contracts.
- Experience advising on commercial and technology law internationally, with a desire to expand this expertise.
- Strong IP and data protection knowledge.
- Proven experience working with senior management, including executive and board levels, in complex environments.
- 30 days 'working from anywhere in the world' policy.
