About the RoleWe're seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join our team at Ocado Group. As a Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice on commercial and transactional matters, both in the UK and internationally. You will work closely with our Senior Legal Counsel and other stakeholders to drive the growth of our business and seize opportunities to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert legal advice on commercial and transactional matters, including drafting, negotiating, and advising on contracts.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to drive the growth of our business and seize opportunities to make a real impact.
- Supervise junior members of the team and contribute to the development of the legal team's strategy.
- Develop and provide training and legal updates to the business on various areas of the law and regulatory matters.
- Develop Ocado standard contract templates.
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification as a commercial or technology lawyer.
- Qualified Solicitor/Barrister specialising in commercial and technology contracts.
- Experience advising on commercial and technology law internationally, with a desire to expand this expertise.
- Strong IP and data protection knowledge.
