LGV Instructor/Trainer

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced LGV Instructor to join our team at Ocado Logistics. As a key member of our training team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our drivers by delivering high-quality training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver World Class training to our drivers, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and compliance.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of LGV technology, the Highway Code, and traffic regulations.
- Conduct on-road driving assessments and deliver classroom presentations to drivers.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve driver behavior and attitude.
- Collaborate with our training team to ensure consistency and quality in our training programs.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A full clean driving license.
- Minimum 3 years LGV Class 1 experience.
- Registration on the National Register of Instructors (NRI) or National Vocational Driving Instructor Register.
- Up-to-date Driver CPC.
- Experience in on-road driving assessments and delivering classroom presentations.
- Strong interpersonal skills to motivate and manage classroom and in-car training.
