The LGV team plays a crucial role within Ocado Logistics - ensuring that the wheels keep turning and everything is where it needs to be, at the right time. In order to ensure that the team performs at its best , and that the drivers are compliant and up to date, we now need someone like you
About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced LGV Instructor to train the next generation of professional drivers. In this role, you’ll ensure the safety and compliance of our drivers by delivering World Class training. As the go-to person for training, you’ll play a vital role in inspiring and motivating our drivers.
The role involves 10 hour shifts over a 4 day week. Occasional pre-planned night and weekend work may be required to support the operation.
About You:
Minimum Requirements:
Full Clean Driving LicenceMinimum 3 years LGV Class 1 experienceRegistered on the National Register of Instructors (NRI) or National Vocational Driving Instructor RegisterUp-to-date Driver CPCExperience in on-road driving assessments and delivering classroom presentationsAbility to develop driver behaviour and attitudeKnowledge of the Highway Code, traffic regulations, and current LGV technologyStrong interpersonal skills to motivate and manage classroom and in-car trainingBusiness Competencies:
Stakeholder managementExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to inspire and motivate othersDrive for continuous improvement and innovationStrong initiative and determination to succeed
