Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a Regional Destination Manager to elevate our European tailor-made product by creating innovative destination product strategies that showcase the depth and richness of the countries we feature. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of discerning guests from the USA, UK, and Singapore, and a passion for creating exceptional, innovative travel experiences that exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather information from sales and commercial teams and guest feedback to continually improve our Europe tailormade product offering
  • Work with the Product Director on strategic projects relating to the product portfolio
  • Report on progress, trends, and statistics for the region and cross-region themes and holiday types
  • Support SSMs and sales teams with training, product documentation, system loading, flight routing and pricing, and other relevant support
  • Work closely with the Marketing team for digital and print campaigns and secure marketing agreements with suppliers
  • Provide regular product updates and training to the team, along with support on price-matching and ad-hoc negotiating
  • Conduct regular competitor, destination, and supplier analysis
  • Identify and contract experiences that enhance guests' holidays and add differentiation to the product
  • Create and add accommodation, itinerary, and experience copy to the product database
  • Work with the website manager to create featured items, destination guides, and refresh existing copy for better SEO
  • Oversee fam trip content and planning, ensuring relevant product is seen and pre- and post-fam work is completed in line with company guidelines
  • Attend supplier events, trade shows, and overseas travel as required

About You

You will have evidenced the ability to develop a product proposition and ensure its ongoing success through collaborating across a business to drive its marketability and adaptation to the latest industry trends. In particular, you will have a passion and deep knowledge of all things Europe.

  • Significant Product Management and Tailormade travel experience
  • Evidenced People Management and Leadership skills
  • Commercial acumen with evidenced experience in managing commercial negotiations
  • Collaborative approach with strong internal and external relationship management skills
  • Forward-thinking approach with the ability to work autonomously

Location

We aim to find someone who would be office based in our London, Hammersmith office.
