Job Title: Destination Product Lead

We are seeking a Destination Product Lead for our Africa & Wildlife product portfolios to develop and maintain destinations in line with Scott Dunn's destination development strategy.

This opportunity will have a broad remit to accelerate opportunities across not just the Africa product portfolio, but also to work collaboratively across destination management functions to build out and develop new destinations.

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership and destination specialism of Scott Dunn's sub-Saharan geographical regions across multiple source markets
  • Develop a compelling wildlife product proposition designed to engage new guests in all things related to wildlife holidays and compel repeat guests to go on another wildlife holiday in different parts of the world
  • Commercial negotiations and ground-handler tenders
  • Delivering destination product overhauls to deadline
  • Driver of new campaign ideas and website development
  • Planning fam trips and ensuring that each trip delivers maximum benefit to the business
  • Managing relationships, leading key supplier meetings, and representing Scott Dunn at tradeshows
  • Supporting the sales teams
  • Proactively identify sales team training requirements, building a bank of tools and resources
  • Maintaining accuracy and relevance of content within the product database
  • Effective communication with product, sales, and marketing team and the wider business

About You:

You will have a deep passion and knowledge for Sub-Saharan Africa, and luxury product in general, having evidenced the ability to take ownership for a product proposition and collaborate across a business to drive its marketability and adaptation to the latest industry trends.

Leading both our Africa and wider wildlife portfolio, you will have your finger on the pulse of all things travel, combined with the creative flair, commercial awareness, and relationship management skills, to contribute towards and lead destination development projects in mind of a wider product-strategy.

We aim to find someone who would be office based at our London, Hammersmith office.
