About the Role

The Corrections Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our publications. As a key member of the Production Editorial team, you will be responsible for managing the editorial corrections process, working closely with stakeholders across the organization to identify and address errors, and implementing changes to maintain high-quality products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the end-to-end correction process, working with teams across ELT and P&CO to ensure timely and accurate implementation of corrections.
  • Engage with stakeholders to investigate and action print and digital corrections, ensuring that all necessary corrections are captured and made appropriately.
  • Manage incoming reprint correction requests, using inputs recorded on MS Forms and other communications channels, and source files from the Archive to maintain data on Novus schedules and create tickets on MS Teams to manage corrections in line with Manufacturing service level agreements.
  • Maintain effective communication with colleagues in other departments to ensure the corrections process is followed as expected, and ensure all necessary corrections have been implemented by Reprint Technicians to maintain high-quality products for our customers.
  • Identify continuous improvement and innovation opportunities within the corrections process, working with colleagues to implement new processes, workflows, systems, and lessons learnt effectively.
  • Contribute to the Corrections Key User group, providing input to group meetings, actions, and training, and provide a comprehensive brief to freelancers and suppliers, checking outputs for quality, consistency, and adherence to editorial standards.
  • Monitor freelancer and supplier budgets when reprints are outsourced, and monitor and feedback on performance of freelancers and suppliers as required.
  • Support the Production Editorial team with ad hoc editorial and project-related tasks as required.
About You

We are looking for a meticulous and organized individual with a high level of attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a positive attitude focused on action and delivery. Experience of working with cross-functional stakeholders, resourcefulness, and a good problem-solving ability are essential. Desirable skills include experience of proofreading content, managing quality assurance standards, and managing freelancers and suppliers.
