About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Coordinator to join our team at City & Guilds Group. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our employees and managers, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to first-line queries and employee experience policy and process queries, providing accurate and timely information to employees and managers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, offering guidance on policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Process service management tickets from Service Now (My Support Centre), prioritizing accordingly to ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with processes across the employee lifecycle, from new starters to exit, including international employees.
  • Process all paperwork for new starters in line with the onboarding process, raising concerns with managers when necessary to ensure equitable treatment.
  • Complete right-to-work checks for appointed candidates and DBS/Credit checks for employees where applicable.
  • Provide support to our People Partners to ensure smooth running of key projects, such as organizational change.
About You

We are looking for a customer-focused individual with a delivery-oriented mindset, a willingness to learn new skills, and the ability to multi-skill across all service streams within HR. You will have strong communication skills, with the confidence to liaise and build rapport with employees and customers at all levels.

You will be a self-starter with a positive attitude and initiative, able to prioritize and organize tasks effectively, with a high attention to detail and accuracy. Experience of using basic Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, is essential.
