People Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Coordinator to join our team at City & Guilds Group. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our business objectives and ensuring the smooth operation of our employee lifecycle processes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to employees and managers, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and best practice.
- Process service management tickets from Service Now, prioritizing accordingly and ensuring timely resolution.
- Support the onboarding process for new starters, including processing paperwork and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Ensure right to work checks are completed for appointed candidates and DBS/Credit checks are processed for employees where applicable.
- Collaborate with People Partners to ensure the smooth running of key projects, such as organisational change.
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will have a customer service approach mindset, with a willingness to learn new skills and multi-skill across all service streams within HR. Prioritisation and organisation are key skills needed in this role, with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
