About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Coordinator to join our team at City & Guilds Group. As a key member of our HR function, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our employees and managers, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for all.

Your primary focus will be on responding to first-line queries, including employee experience policy and process queries, as well as employee experience system queries. You will be a trusted advisor to managers and employees, offering guidance on policies, procedures, and best practices.

You will also be responsible for prioritizing and responding to service management tickets from Service Now (My Support Centre), ensuring that all queries are addressed in a timely and professional manner.

In addition, you will be tasked with processing all paperwork for new starters, in line with our onboarding process, and ensuring that right to work checks are completed for appointed candidates, as well as DBS/Credit checks for employees where applicable.

As a People Coordinator, you will work closely with our People Partners to ensure the smooth running of key projects, such as organizational change, and provide support to our employees and managers to ensure a positive and inclusive work environment.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a customer service approach mindset, who is delivery-focused and willing to learn new skills and multi-skill across all service streams within HR. You will have a high attention to detail and accuracy, and be a strong communicator with the confidence to liaise and build rapport with employees and customers at all levels.

You will be a self-starter with a positive attitude and initiative, and have experience of using basic Microsoft Office applications, including Excel. An awareness of inclusivity within the workplace is essential, and you will be able to apply this consistently in your work.
