About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled aircraft welder to join our team at Ryanair. As a skilled aircraft welder, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welds on aircraft components, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tig weld thin sheet Aluminum, Stainless, Inconel and Titanium
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship in all tasks
  • Complete maintenance documentation records in accordance with company procedures
  • Organise and evaluate repairs
  • Order and progress spares
  • Follow company regulations and policies
  • Assist with skills development of staff, including apprentices and trainee mechanics
  • Carry out additional tasks allocated by management

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and use of tools/equipment required to perform assigned job-related tasks is mandatory
  • Experience in general sheet metal work/tinsmith would be advantageous
  • Experience of inspecting components & compiling work packs desirable but not essential
  • Must have or be willing to work towards gaining company CRS approval
  • Must have or be willing to work towards gaining CAA welders approval
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings
  • Excellent spoken and written English is essential
  • Willing to work shifts
  • Flexible approach to working in a fast-changing environment
  • All applicants must have an unrestricted right to work in the UK
