About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled aircraft welder to join our team at Ryanair. As a skilled aircraft welder, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welds on aircraft components, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tig weld thin sheet Aluminum, Stainless, Inconel and Titanium
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship in all tasks
- Complete maintenance documentation records in accordance with company procedures
- Organise and evaluate repairs
- Order and progress spares
- Follow company regulations and policies
- Assist with skills development of staff, including apprentices and trainee mechanics
- Carry out additional tasks allocated by management
Requirements:
- Knowledge and use of tools/equipment required to perform assigned job-related tasks is mandatory
- Experience in general sheet metal work/tinsmith would be advantageous
- Experience of inspecting components & compiling work packs desirable but not essential
- Must have or be willing to work towards gaining company CRS approval
- Must have or be willing to work towards gaining CAA welders approval
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Excellent spoken and written English is essential
- Willing to work shifts
- Flexible approach to working in a fast-changing environment
- All applicants must have an unrestricted right to work in the UK
