Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Aircraft Manufacturing Specialist to join our team. This role will involve working in a fast-paced environment, carrying out machining duties as required and allocated.
The ideal candidate will have previous aircraft maintenance experience, manual turning and milling experience, and the ability to operate & program CNC machining centres.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out machine shop duties as required and allocated
- Machining of aircraft repair parts and aircraft parts
- Fabrication of tooling, jigs and fixtures
- Create work packs
- Comply with all company procedures, policies, regulations, and MOE
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Previous aircraft maintenance experience desirable, but not essential
- Manual turning and milling experience required
- Ability to operate & program CNC machining centres
- AutoCAD or other CADCAM experience advantageous
- Experienced and competent using inspection tooling
- Experienced with interpreting engineering drawings
- Experience with Microsoft office word & excel software
- Willingness to create work cards/work packs
- Engineering background or relevant academic qualification essential
