Job Title: Creative Arts Facilitator

About the Role:

We are seeking a creative and empathetic individual to lead arts and crafts sessions for people with visual impairments and learning difficulties. The successful candidate will inspire and motivate individuals to develop their arts and crafts skills, assisting them in the creation of their projects and supporting them to brainstorm and use their own initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead arts and crafts sessions for groups of people with visual impairments and learning difficulties
- Assist individuals in the creation of their projects and support them to brainstorm and use their own initiative
- Encourage and motivate individuals to develop their arts and crafts skills

Requirements:

- Kind, empathetic, and friendly nature
- Good sense of humour and ability to chat
- Punctual and reliable
- Ability to deal with information in line with data protection and confidentiality procedures
- Ability to assist with sighted guide/orientation when necessary
