Arts and Crafts Volunteer Role

We are seeking a creative and empathetic individual to lead arts and crafts sessions for people with visual impairments and learning difficulties at our service in Maidstone.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead group sessions, inspiring and motivating individuals to develop their arts and crafts skills.
  • Assist participants in creating their projects and support them in brainstorming and using their own initiative.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement arts and crafts programs.
Requirements:
  • Kind, empathetic, and friendly demeanor.
  • Good sense of humor and ability to engage with participants.
  • Punctuality and reliability.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Willingness to undergo DBS check and safeguarding training.
