About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Planning and Infrastructure Counsel to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of the legal services department, you will work closely with project teams to advise on high-value capital projects and support the consenting process.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing advice on planning and consenting matters, including statutory consultation and Environmental Impact Assessments
  • Drafting and negotiating planning agreements, including Development Consent Orders and planning applications
  • Supporting project teams on high-value capital projects

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of consenting, environment, and regulatory law
  • Experience of DCOs and working on large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Relevant experience from Private Practice, Central Government, or In-house
