We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Development Lawyer to join our client, a leading utility company based in Brighton. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for supporting high-value capital projects and advising on technically challenging matters.
About the Role
The Infrastructure Development Lawyer will work closely with project teams to advise on a range of planning matters, including consenting processes, statutory consultation, Environmental Impact Assessments, Habitat Regulations, land acquisition strategies, and negotiations with regulators and statutory bodies.
You will also have the opportunity to work on some of the largest infrastructure projects in the country, including the development of a new strategic water supply asset through the development consent order process.
Requirements
- Good grounding in consenting (planning), environment, and regulatory law
- Experience of DCOs and working on large-scale infrastructure projects
- Background from Private Practice, Central Government, or In-house
What We Offer
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £95,000 + per annum, a 10% bonus, 11% pension contributions, 25 days holiday + bank holiday, private healthcare, and many more benefits.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic legal team and contribute to the delivery of significant infrastructure projects that benefit the community and the environment.
