Experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Quality Assurance Specialist

Belcan is seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at a MOD research facility. As a key member of our E&I commissioning team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in the design, installation, and testing of electrical and instrumentation systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and review Inspection and Test Plans and supporting Quality documentation.
- Provide technical support for projects, ensuring compliance with quality assurance procedures.
- Review vendor/supplier Inspection and Test Plans to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Liaise with E&I Completions and Commissioning Engineers, Project Engineers, and Construction Operatives to compile LTQR (Life Time Quality Records) and SIS (System Information Sheets) packs.
- Coordinate and advise on E&I Quality requirements, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Utilize knowledge and experience in Quality Management Systems to drive quality excellence.
- Able to read and understand electrical schematics, with a strong understanding of industry standards and specifications.
- Previous experience working in an E&I role in highly regulated industries (Nuclear/Oil & Gas/Aviation) is essential.
- Minimum ONC/HNC in an Engineering discipline and a relevant testing and inspection qualification (e.g., C&G 2391 Testing & Inspection) are required.
