About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at a MOD research facility. As a key member of our E&I commissioning team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in the design, installation, and testing of electrical and instrumentation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review Inspection and Test Plans and supporting Quality documentation.
- Provide technical support for projects, ensuring compliance with quality management systems.
- Review vendor/supplier Inspection and Test Plans and provide guidance on E&I quality requirements.
- Liaise with E&I Completions and Commissioning Engineers, Project Engineers, and Construction Operatives to compile LTQR and SIS packs.
- Coordinate and advise on E&I quality requirements, ensuring seamless project delivery.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in ITP and LTQR production, compilation, and review.
- Knowledge and experience in Quality Management Systems.
- Able to read and understand electrical schematics.
- Understanding of and familiarity with industry standards and specifications.
- Previous experience working in an E&I role in a highly regulated industry (Nuclear/Oil & Gas/Aviation).
- Minimum ONC/HNC in an Engineering discipline.
- A relevant testing and inspection qualification, such as C&G 2391 Testing & Inspection.
