Belcan is seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at a MOD research facility. This is a contract opportunity outside of IR35, with an onsite working arrangement.
This is an excellent chance for a skilled Quality Assurance professional to work with a leading client in the E&I commissioning team. The successful candidate will have experience working with quality assurance in a highly regulated industry, such as Nuclear, Oil & Gas, or Aviation.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and review Inspection and Test Plans, as well as supporting Quality documentation.
- Provide technical support for Quality-related projects.
- Review vendor/supplier Inspection and Test Plans.
- Liaise with E&I Completions and Commissioning Engineers, Project Engineers, and Construction Operatives to compile LTQR (Life Time Quality Records) and SIS (System Information Sheets) packs.
- Coordinate and advise on E&I Quality requirements.
- Utilize knowledge and experience in Quality Management Systems.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
- Understanding of and familiarity with industry standards and specifications.
- Previous experience working in an E&I role in a highly regulated industry.
- Minimum ONC/HNC in an Engineering discipline.
- A relevant testing and inspection qualification, such as C&G 2391 Testing & Inspection.
