Domestic Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Domestic Assistant. As a key member of our Estates and Facilities Management team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide timely bed turnarounds following patient discharges, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for new patients.
- Undertake daily cleaning and preparation of patient bed space areas, adhering to our automated system and guidelines.
- Work closely with multi-professional teams to ensure vacated beds are made available as quickly as possible, supporting patient flow and care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for patients and staff, adhering to national standards of cleanliness.
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Basic numeracy and ability to read English.
- Good interpersonal skills, customer relations, and neat presentation.
- An awareness of the importance of Health & Safety in the workplace.
- An awareness of the importance of COSHH in the workplace.
- Good teamwork skills, acceptance of role and responsibilities, flexibility to meet the needs of the service, and ability to work in a quick-changing environment under pressure.
