Job Title: Domestic Assistant BCH

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Domestic Assistant BCH. This role is responsible for providing timely bed turnarounds following patient discharges, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily cleaning services to wards and departments, including general cleaning duties, damp dusting, and mopping of floors.
  • Assist with food and beverage service for inpatients.
  • Work closely with multi-professional teams to ensure vacated beds are made available as quickly as possible to assist patient flow.
Requirements:
  • Basic numeracy and ability to read English.
  • Previous experience of carrying out cleaning duties or tasks is desirable.
  • Good interpersonal skills, customer relations, and neat presentation.
  • Awareness of the importance of Health & Safety and COSHH in the workplace.
