Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Mitchell Adam, a growing manufacturing business. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in analysing financial information and implementing effective strategies to enhance overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, develop and apply findings from financial reports to inform management decisions.
  • Maintain financial policies and management information systems.
  • Establish effective communication channels to inform management on all aspects of company finance.
  • Extend commercial involvement with the production of relevant commercial analysis / KPIs e.g. margins and pricing.
  • Exercise financial accounting experience with the calculation of VAT, management of capital expenditure and fixed asset register and month end P&L commentary and reporting.

Requirements

  • Be a fully qualified Accountant by ACCA/ACA/CIMA.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to successfully communicate across all levels, with both finance and non-finance individuals.
  • Have experience in a busy, contract-led environment and therefore be confident with WIP reporting.
  • Excellent Excel skills and knowledge - ability to do Lookups, IF statements, Pivot tables & present information in clear meaningful ways.
