We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Collections Supervisor to join our team at Biffa Waste Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising and leading our collections crews to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead collections crews to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Monitor workforce performance and implement action plans to address variances.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal obligations.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients and internal/external customers.
  • Manage staffing levels and holidays to meet business needs.
  • Responsible for submitting accurate and timely attendance records.

Requirements:

  • Experience of producing and analysing reports using Microsoft Office Suite and internal IT systems.
  • Ability to work within a commercially driven and time-critical environment.
  • Experience of people and health and safety management within a unionised and multi-shift environment.
  • Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Proven track record of working to clearly defined service delivery KPIs.
  • Experience of vehicle management – CPC, tachos, Road Transport Directive.
  • Proven track record of delivering continuous improvement within an operational / service environment.
