About the Role

This position involves assisting in patient assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation in a medium secure hospital setting. Key responsibilities include providing high-standard care, developing therapeutic relationships, and contributing to patient assessments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high standard of care to individuals with mental illness, personality disorder, and learning disability.
  • Develop therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement and contribute to patient assessments.
  • Follow codes of conduct, standards, and legislation.
  • Accept responsibility for quality nursing care in a forensic setting.

Requirements

A relevant nursing qualification (RMN/RNLD), excellent team working skills, a high level of self-motivation, and a flexible approach are essential. A commitment to patient-centred care and values-based practice is also required.

Benefits and Salary

The successful candidate will receive an hourly rate of £18.50, weekly pay in arrears, enhanced disclosure cost coverage, supplemented meals while on duty, and free on-site parking.
