We are currently seeking an experienced HLTA to join our team at a reputable school in Southwark to provide support to a pupil with special educational needs on a 1 to 1 basis.

The Role

As an experienced HLTA, you will be responsible for supporting a pupil with special educational needs on a 1:1 basis. The pupil is joining the school in Year 5 and is non-verbal. The ability to communicate with the pupil's family, who speak Spanish, would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with special educational needs
  • Work closely with the school's SEND coordinator and class teachers to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Communicate effectively with the pupil's family and other stakeholders
