Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Cygnet Cedars, a 24-bed high dependency complex care service for men with learning disabilities and associated complex needs.

This role offers the opportunity to support individuals with learning disabilities to develop the skills they need to live independently. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing their needs and developing personalized care pathways.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing occupational therapy services to individuals with learning disabilities
  • Working closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team
  • Leading on specific projects and supervising others

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working in an occupational therapy setting, ideally in a similar environment
  • Strong clinical supervision and protected time for a weekly 1:1 with your clinical supervisor
  • Induction & service line training in area of specialism
  • Dedicated CPD time for peer support, skill development and specialist training

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £40,000 per annum. We also offer a range of benefits, including free parking and free meals for staff on duty.
