Your Responsibilities
  • Lead a team in executing technical design tasks in accordance with relevant standards and codes, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Develop briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
  • Effectively manage time and budgets to meet key project milestones.
  • Collaborate closely with teams both locally and internationally to deliver cohesive design solutions.
  • Comply with quality assurance standards in design.
Qualifications
  • Chartered Chemical / Process Engineer (preferably IChemE or CIWEM).
  • Proven experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary projects.
  • Strong understanding and experience in integrated waste-water and bioresources treatment processes.
  • Experience in the design and/or operation of primary, secondary, and tertiary treatment processes, as well as bioresource treatment and disposal, odour control, and energy management.
  • Familiarity with process safety methodologies (HAZOP / DSEAR), cost assessments, and knowledge of UK environmental regulations.
  • Awareness of process modeling tools and software, such as BioWIn and SUMO.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary benchmarked against industry standards, along with a default of 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, with options to buy or sell leave. Compensation and benefits will be aligned with experience and qualifications.

Additional Information:

This position may require security clearance, and employment offers will depend on obtaining the necessary level of clearance. If applicable, this will be discussed during the interview process. The vetting process is conducted by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK for a minimum of five years.
