Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and efficient Veterinary Client Care, Insurance and Referral Coordinator to join our team at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies. The successful candidate will provide a gold standard of care to our clients and referring veterinary surgeons, while also providing administrative and clerical duties to support the efficient running of the Equine Practice and Hospital clinics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional client care and support to our clients and referring veterinary surgeons.
  • Manage administrative and clerical duties to support the efficient running of the Equine Practice and Hospital clinics.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a friendly and supportive team to deliver high-level client care and support.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of client care and practice management.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a client-facing role, preferably in the veterinary environment.
  • Previous administrative experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and individually, while remaining calm and efficient in emotionally charged situations.
  • Ability to use standard processes and maintain a high level of customer service.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) with a permanent contract. The successful candidate will be based in our state-of-the-art Equine Hospital and will be required to work collaboratively as part of a friendly and supportive team to deliver high-level client care and support.
