The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and efficient Veterinary Client Care, Insurance and Referral Coordinator to join our team at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies.

This role requires a confident outgoing individual with excellent initiative, communication skills and attention to detail to provide a gold standard of care to our clients and referring veterinary surgeons.

You will be part of a friendly, supportive team who emphasize delivering high-level client care and support to the clinical team in a fast-paced environment.

This varied and interesting post offers a full-time position (35 hours per week) with a permanent contract.

Your Skills and Attributes for Success
  • Previous experience in a client-facing role – preferably in the veterinary environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to interact professionally with staff, students and clients.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and individually, whilst remaining calm and efficient in emotionally charged situations.

Salary: £28,879 - £33,232 per annum. The University of Edinburgh is committed to providing a competitive salary and benefits package.
