An Exciting Career Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Anatomical Pathology Technician to join our team at Sheffield Children's NHSFT. As a key member of our paediatric mortuary service, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality support to our patients and their families.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art paediatric mortuary, conducting post-mortem examinations and providing technical support to our multidisciplinary team. You will work closely with our healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of care and dignity are maintained throughout the mortuary process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the provision of the Sheffield children's hospital paediatric mortuary service
  • Support the efficient running of the mortuary
  • Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping

Person Specification:

  • Certificate & Diploma in Anatomical Pathology technology or Level 3 Diploma
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well-organised and able to work under pressure

Salary Range: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
