An innovative and growing manufacturing organization seeks a highly skilled Senior Health, Safety and Environmental professional to join their team in Oxfordshire.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will oversee two direct reports and collaborate closely with the executive team to address HS&E matters. Regular travel between sites may be required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive health, safety and environmental management systems, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Engage with employees to promote health, safety and environmental awareness, fostering a proactive approach to risk management.
Requirements:
  • Possess extensive knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations, ideally gained within a manufacturing setting.
  • Hold a recognized NEBOSH certification or equivalent, reflecting expertise in HSE policy development and enforcement.
  • Proven track record of leading diverse teams, communicating effectively with executives and employees alike.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as specialized HSE software.
  • Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £72,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
