About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to join our team as an Assistant Manager. As a key member of our branch team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maximise sales and profitability by providing expert travel advice and guidance to customers
  • Assist the branch manager in the day-to-day operation of the branch, including supervising and developing a team of consultants
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their holiday needs are met
  • Participate in promotional events and activities to increase branch exposure and drive sales
  • Utilise social media to promote offers, generate customer engagement, and drive sales leads
  • Lead by example in achieving individual sales targets and objectives
  • Assist and support the branch manager in achieving maximum staff productivity while maintaining staff motivation
  • Ensure excellent customer service experience is provided at all times
  • Attend managers' meetings, conferences, and other promotional events as required
  • Perform administrative duties as needed
Requirements
  • At least 2 years' experience as a Travel Consultant
  • A proven sales record
  • Passionate about travel and tourism
  • Excellent travel product knowledge with a good working knowledge of tour operator systems
  • Good sales and presentation skills
  • Customer-focused
  • Problem-solving
  • Good leadership skills and experience of working within a supervisory role
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A recognised travel qualification (desirable)
