Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to provide effective and efficient clinic coordination support for our Primary Care Dental Service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing waiting lists, organizing clinics and patient appointments, and performing daily tasks associated with the management of an outpatient setting and reception area.

This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage waiting lists and prioritize patient appointments
  • Organize clinics and coordinate patient care
  • Perform daily tasks associated with the management of an outpatient setting and reception area
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • Educated to GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths
  • Business and Admin level 3 NVQ or equivalent experience
  • Extensive clerical/reception experience in a healthcare/public setting
  • Experience of handling cash and banking
  • Experience of dealing with the public in person, by telephone, and via letter
  • Experience of working in the NHS

We offer a competitive salary of £24,071 - £25,674 per annum, depending on experience. The post also offers excellent benefits, including a range of training and development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
