Job Overview
The Assistant Service Manager role at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a crucial position that requires a dedicated and skilled professional. This position involves working closely with the Service Manager and the wider Ophthalmology Team to provide management support, ensuring the smooth operation of services.

Main Responsibilities
This role entails supporting the annual planning and business cycle, demand and capacity planning, performance monitoring, operational delivery of the Surgical Centre, and specialty projects. The successful candidate will also be required to deputise for the Service Manager and represent the sub-divisional management team at senior meetings.

Key Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, have the ability to prioritise their workload, and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills. A 1st degree or equivalent management qualification is essential, along with evidence of professional development and service development change.

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from £35,392 to £42,618 per annum, pro rata. The role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the delivery of safe and effective clinical services within the NHS.
