We are currently seeking an experienced Religious Studies teacher to join our team on a full-time basis, starting January 2025.

The role involves teaching engaging and thought-provoking lessons to students at KS3 and KS4, inspiring a deep understanding of world religions, ethics, and philosophical ideas. As a member of our humanities department, you will be part of a supportive team dedicated to fostering an inclusive and inquisitive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Religious Studies lessons to students at KS3 and KS4
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student understanding and enthusiasm for the subject
  • Contribute to the development of the humanities department and school community

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification recognized in the UK
  • Strong subject knowledge and ability to teach Religious Studies to GCSE level
  • Previous experience teaching Religious Studies in a secondary school setting is highly desirable
