We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Adult Psychiatrist to join our team at Elysium Healthcare.

Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing expert care to individuals with enduring mental health problems. As a Senior Adult Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for leading a clinical team and working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

About the Role
  • Providing consultant-level input to inpatients in specialist rehabilitation services or acute psychiatric wards
  • Caring for a caseload of 16-18 inpatients
  • Participating in a low-frequency second-on-call rota for the region
  • Assessing new referrals and developing personalized treatment plans
  • Liaising with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful as an applicant, you must hold MRCPsych or equivalent, have a CCT in general adult psychiatry, forensic psychiatry, psychiatry of LD or medical psychotherapy, and be fully GMC registered. Additionally, you should have experience working within an MDT in providing care for patients with complex needs.
