Job Title: FP&A Senior Analyst

Join Channel 4's Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team as a Senior Analyst and play a key role in shaping the company's financial future.

Role Overview

The FP&A team is responsible for producing, reporting, and monitoring consolidated financial projections for Channel 4. As a Senior Analyst, you will work closely with the Head of Commercial Finance and Finance Business Partners to deliver high-quality analysis and insights that inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the preparation, review, and presentation of rolling monthly and quarterly reforecasts, annual budgets, and strategic plans.
  • Work closely with the Management Accounts team to understand monthly and YTD reports and how they fit into the FY revisions.
  • Produce and support the production of analysis and comparative reports that explain performance and performance variances.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze business opportunities and challenges.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support business needs.
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant or equivalent experience in a consolidating FP&A function.
  • Experience of directly supporting operational business executives in formulating, monitoring, and managing their budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial information systems, preferably Oracle and/or Workday.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
