Job Title: Technical Team Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Team Lead to join our team at Stirling Dynamics. As a Technical Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of electronics engineers in the design and development of our electric actuator controller products for Urban Air Mobility eVTOL aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team to deliver high-quality electronic development projects
  • Plan, allocate, and oversee technical work packages to meet project deliverables and schedules
  • Collaborate with project managers and other technical disciplines to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Manage and motivate team members as the technical specialist
  • Ensure technical oversight and approval of project deliverables

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree with an electronics bias or relevant experience
  • Leadership or management qualification desirable

Desirable Skills:

  • Professional attitude and good communication skills
  • Flexible and can-do approach
  • Team leading and management experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively and multitask
  • Pragmatic and systematic approach

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years in an electronics product development environment
  • Operated at Senior or Principal Engineer level with team leadership or people management experience
  • System electronics architecture design and specification experience
  • Programmable based electronics systems experience
