Job DescriptionThe Global Payroll Manager is responsible for leading the global payroll team, defining the payroll vision and strategy in collaboration with senior HR stakeholders. This includes ensuring accurate payments to employees and/or retirees, deploying payroll policies, projects, and procedures, and monitoring key performance indicators.
Responsibilities- Manage the global payroll team
- Develop and implement payroll strategies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Monitor key performance indicators
- Collaborate with IT HR teams to implement new tools
- Collaborate with other HR teams to ensure operational consistency
- Becoming an agent for innovation in payroll and time management
To be successful in this role, you will need a degree or equivalent in HR, Business Administration, or a similar field, as well as relevant work experience in payroll and payroll transformation. You should have 5-10 years' experience in HR, including on payroll multi-country leadership, and cross-cultural team leadership experience. Technical skills and strategic thinking and analytical capability are also essential.
You will also need experience with top-tier payroll providers, the ability to work across time zones in a globally distributed team environment, change management skills, and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Customer service orientation is also highly valued.
Based on the market standards, the estimated salary for this role is around $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
