R&D Engineering Manager Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced R&D Engineering Manager to join our team at Terumo BCT. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of new engineering projects, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of engineers to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and implement engineering strategies to improve product quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineers and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D engineering, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
- Proven track record of leading engineering teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong technical knowledge and skills in engineering, including mechanical, chemical, and fluids engineering.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
