R&D Engineering Manager

Terumo BCT is a global leader in blood management, blood safety, therapeutic apheresis, cell therapy, and cell collections. We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Engineering Manager to join our team in Larne, Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of experienced engineers in the development and implementation of new products and technologies.
- Manage project expenditures and ensure compliance with quality system regulations and safe working practices.
- Implement and understand FDA or regulatory requirements as necessary.
- Plan, guide, and review projects to produce the desired outcome.
- Utilize technical skills to evaluate proposed solutions, adaptations, and modifications to projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Science (Engineering or Pharmaceutical Science preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or medical device industries is essential.
- Strong technical innovation, technical leadership, mechanical or chemical engineering, fluids engineering, and cellular biology skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications.
