We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Chemist to join our team in South Yorkshire. As a Site Chemist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient processing of hazardous waste.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and test incoming chemical waste to ensure compliance with site requirements
  • Ensure accurate and complete paperwork for incoming waste
  • Collaborate with site operatives to ensure safe and timely processing of waste
  • Monitor and maintain site compliance and health and safety standards
  • Support the control of material flows and container stocks to avoid delays and backlogs
  • Contribute to the development of site procedures and protocols
Requirements:
  • Minimum HND in Chemistry or similar qualification with significant chemistry content
  • Industrial experience in the chemical or waste industry
  • Strong organizational and influencing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
