Technical Sales Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Sales Advisor to join our team. As a Technical Sales Advisor, you will be the point of contact for all current and prospective clients, offering complex solutions for their chemical and hazardous waste requirements.

This is a fast-paced, dynamic role that requires a high level of professionalism, excellent chemicals knowledge, and strong communication skills. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently handle customer queries and provide prompt responses.
  • Produce technical sales quotations and communicate them to customers.
  • Understand client business needs and provide complex solutions in a timely manner.
  • Arrange for sample collection from customer sites for laboratory analysis when necessary.
  • Gather technical information and identify potential services that could be provided.
  • Build rapport and establish relationships with suppliers and customers.
  • Analysis, interpretation, and reporting of data.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemistry or HNC in Chemistry is essential.
  • Prior experience in customer service and/or sales is ideal.
  • Previous experience working in a similar industry (waste management, recycling, etc.) is essential.
  • Working knowledge of Waste Treatment Processing Plant operations is desirable.
  • Good understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
