Mental Health Specialist Consultant

Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation NHS Trust is seeking an exceptional Consultant Psychiatrist to lead our Early Intervention Psychosis and TIDES teams. Job Overview:

This role involves providing high-level Consultant Psychiatry input to our EIP and TIDES services, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored care to individuals experiencing psychotic illnesses.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert medical input to our Early Intervention Psychosis team, focusing on those aged 18-69 years.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of innovative clinical strategies for At Risk Mental State patients aged 14-35 through the TIDES Service.
  • Collaborating with GMC-registered professionals to ensure seamless teamwork and effective communication.

Requirements:

  • A deep understanding of Clinical Governance principles and practices.
  • Experience of teaching, presenting, and supervising junior medical staff.
  • Registration with the GMC, Section 12(2) Approval, and Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCST.
